If you have 5.1 surround,,,

I came across the most awsome sounding concert I have ever heard. The Roy Orbison Black and White Night has me just dumbstruct. I have never heard sound like that anywhere but at a concert, and wonder what else is out there to compare. FWIW, I am 60 years old so no head bangers need apply. Really into the oldies, so if anyone knows of any other music from that era in DVD format that trips their trigger,, let me know. Thanks !!!

Hmmm.... I have THX and its 7.1. I will have to locate this DVD to fine tune the sound system. BTW, just got a new Pioneer Elite Plasma... Its like pulling the veil off of HDTV.

Anyways, there was an Andrea Boncelli DTS sampler out not too lond ago. Simply amazing sound...

Oh, and what equipment are you running?

I have the Integra RDA-7.1, and its matching RDC-7.1... The intro to Saving Private Ryan IS AWESOME!!

I recently bought Bob Dylan's recent DVD called No direction home and it's quite good for a number of reasons, the sound quality not being the least. But keep in mind that it is Dylan and there is some really good concert footage....
