I'm soon replacing my Ford Contour (yes, I know...) with a new DD. I've always loved the old Mercs from the early 90's and since I must have an aftermarket stereo the car has to have a solid interior resistant to rattles. Just wondering what the odds are that the 190E (or any E class) would make a decent daily driver in upstate NY. FYI - we salt the roads like crazy up here. My default choice was a Toyota Avalon.
