Can you? I went to the auto parts store and they said nobody sold a solvent by the gallon anymore. You guys know what I'm talking about? The stuff that comes in a can with a basket so you can soak your parts?

I buy it at my local Rural King. Check a place like Farm & Fleet, Fleet Farm, or whatever they're called in your neck 'o the woods.
