where does our oil come from??

A while back there was an e-mail going around about gas companys and the origin of their crude oil. Some companys got their oil strictly from the middle east and others used domestic oil or Venezualan(sorry bout spelling)or brazilian.could any1 post the list if they have it.O and does any1 know which oil companys the Bush family makes all their money on ,so that i could avoid fueling up at these establishments. Thanks a lot

does it really matter? Whether you buy "their" oil or not, someone else will buy it so what, if any is the difference other than you feel you can pat yourself on the back for a job well done?

Did we really win in Iraq and what is our win-loss record with Canadians?

Yeah, 0-2. Burned the White House black. Although I believe we were technically British subjects then...

No, that was in 1812. Back to US History class for you!

Woops, you are Canadian. Silly me!

BTW, the British burned Washington and the White house in response to the Americans burning the Parliament building in York, now Toronto.

For more info on Canadian oil production, look at this months Popular science.

They are our #1 provider of oil and will become # 5 worldwide instead of #8 in appox 10 years due to their production of shale oil or tar sands, I forgot which. They have one, we have the other.

Anyway, at current prices(like our resident Botanist once claimed) spending all that xtra $$$$ on getting oil from a rock(lol) suddenly makes a lot more sense.

They claim they use one barrell of oil for every 3 produced, compared to 1 for every 30 with conventional "cheap oil".

Any of you guys know that we export a fairly large amount of oil to Saudi Arabia?

All the oil is from TX and we rape them price wise on it.

Anyone know why?
I do, I'll let you guys figure it out...

All right, I'll bite. Why? The only thing I can think of is that we need oil with certain properties and they don't and vice versa. IOW, the oil we sell them is able to be distilled into more of the items desirable to them.
