Sweet F1 race today!!!
 

Any see todays race in Italy? Ferrari won, as they should.:D Alonso was on Schumacher's for most of the race, it was an awsome race.

Can Ferrari reclaim their rightfull position at the head of F1?

Will Kimi join Ferrari next year and show the world what he can do with a good car?:D

It was a fun race to watch, Alonso really really wanted to pass Schumacher but just couldn't. When is the German race next week? I can't wait!

I watched some of it. Had to turn it off when the phone repair guy got here.

I never knew they had V-8's spinning 19,000 rpm. Why don't they just go to gas turbines and get it over with?

I want to see Schumacher drive an 80,000 lb semi over the Sierra Nevada with a little 10-liter 350 Cat and no Jake. Then back the sucker into an alley dock.

Yeah they dumped the V10's last year, cars were going way way to fast.:( The V8's will be over 20k rpm next year, they need to spin them faster to extract more speed!:D

F1 drivers are the cream of the cream of the crop. The best in the world. Hundreds of millions of dollars are spent to tune those cars past perfection. Under braking they slam you into your harness at 5G+.:eek: The technoligy alone in those cars makes your average NASCAR look like a relic from the 60's, oh wait they are. (duck and cover:D )

F1 drivers have more in commen with fighter pilot's.

Kind of like watching the America's Cup, or the Blue Angles, unbrideld excellence and perfection on display.:cool:

Probably one of the worst races I've seen. Can you tell me when you saw a pass? Alonso was following MS the whole race, he couldn't make a move. They should probably eliminate this race ffrom the schedule, no need for two races in Italy, especially when one race track offers no passing.

Alonso and MS shifted positions breifly when they pitted. Alonso was on MS's tail for like 20 laps! He just couldn't pull of a pass.

Not that he needed two, second is enough points.

How in the world did Michael come out ahead of Alonso after the pit stop? What happened to slow the Ferrari so much? What happened to Kimi? It's like a soap opera. They should drop Imola and Monte Carlo too, and replace them with the Nordschleife at Nurnburgring. Now that's a track.

Speed didn't carry it, wish they did CBS's camra shots and comentators sucked.

That's why the race sucked, only passing during the pitstops. Alonso couldn't pass Ms for like 20 laps because it is impossible to pass on the track.

CBS and SpeedTV commentary are both pretty horrible. TOo bad you guys don't get the ITV feed straight from the UK with martin brundle and james allen doing the commentary. The guys from Speed are horrrible, they make so many errors, and half the time they are unsure of whats happening.

Seems the Renault is still much faster than the Ferraris and the rest.
Anyone know why that is? Smart Schumacher knew that on this track speed counts less, and he managed to keep Alonso behind him untill the end. The sly old fox hasn't lost his touch yet. Maybe it will become an exciting season afterall. But Ferrari's problems aren't over yet however, despite the victory. Amazing how Renault with their tiny budget manages to stay on top.

I guess Bridgestone had a hot new tire out last weekend. Both of the tire companys seem to be really turning up the heat on eachother.

Also according to Ferrari at least they had managed to get an extra 1k rpm out of their V8. Makes sense in the straight aways the Ferrari was pulling away from the Renult.


The sad part about budgets is Toyota spends the most, yet they still suck.:D
