I had Optimum Voice which is by far the very best (Think Rolls Royce) of VOIP, and VERY expensive.

I left them and went to SunRocket. I have to say, it sucks, it is cheap, but it just sucks.

From what I hear this deal is better than SunRocket and HALF the friggin the price! :)

We'll both see... dslreports and broadbandreports both give it great reviews. The company that runs the VOIP is a web hosting company. That's a good thing when it comes to understanding loads, etc.

I think we're going to be in on something good.

Can they port over my local telco #?

Yes. It asks you if you want to when you sign up. You'll have to fill out a form and fax it in... I just filled mine out. I'm porting a VOIP #... the form gives you all the instructions, pretty easy.

YAY, even better. I am trying to find this out though, is there an activation fee, or a hardware fee?

No fees. They refund the fees @ time of order. Go through the site @ sign-up. It explains everything, the rest is in the link I gave at top of thread. :)
