Do you name your car?

Personally I think that its a bit weird to name a piece of steel. I have had names for cars but I certainly never called them or listed them by name.

Well....

Give them names to call them by? - No
Call them names? - Sometimes.
(Like now, when the A/C system isn't working)

I don't name my cars. However, I once had old Willys Jeep that was so ugly and beat up that the previous owner had painted "the toad" on the metal dash. This thing really did look like a toad and so the name stuck. I never licked the Jeep to get a buzz.

The Honda
The Jeep
and
The super car

I name them to help the kids distinguish which one to board.

They are: Evelyn, Caroline and Madeline. Mrs Az doesn't name hers.

Names for cars

Only occassionally. Only when they don't behave the way I want them to behave, and none that are repeatable here, if I understand the rules of the forum correctly.

I have a very good friend who names her cars, computers, and other inanimate objects. She's refreshingly weird.

Names, as in pet names?

Not pet names, no. But nicknames.

The W126 was The Great Grey Beast, The Battleship, or The Warship. My second Olds Cutlass, gold in color, was The Goldsmobile.

I haven't given the C230 a nickname, since it doesn't fit into the nautical theme established by the 420SEL.

I like that, Goldsmobile

Actually, when I bought the Lincoln I drive everyday, I was so impressed with how much better the stereo was than in any previous cars that I determined it was no longer an automobile. It's my audio-mobile. Even better now that I have Sirius satellite radio in it.
