Yes, unfortunately generalizations seem to perpetuate divisions between people and help to fuel wars. I know people who are very tolerant of others on a personal level and yet quick to disparage other ethnic, religious, and racial groups when talking in generalities. Cognitive disonance is what that is called, I believe.

Well, when most of our troubles are from islamic people and the people that support these troublesome people, what do you expect others to think? If muslims feel they are getting a raw deal, maybe they should make their stand clear that they don't support so and so instead of having their governments say this, that or the other whilst slipping funds to these same groups.

First, there were also 5 civillians involved. Secondly, it was statutory rape not just simple rape. I know, you took part of the title "Israeli soldiers accused of raping 11-year-old" and shortened it. Also you forgot to mention the other part which was that she lied about her age for sex so it was not like the soldiers did a "catholic priest" on them. Fourthly, you forgot to mention that there was bad parenting on the parent's part. So, all in all, are you a journalist or do you have aspirations to be one? You'll go far.

Israel isn't the country that shouts out to the world they that are their world compass of morality -- we are.

What of it? Tell me what I said isn't true. Tell me that what the government says is one thing but they allow funds to slip out and support these groups. If you give them support, what am to think of you? If you aid the terrorist either financially, logistically, morally, etc, etc, and they blow up a bus of people, are you saying that your hands are clean? The people think their army is morally superior. Everyone thinks they are. So did Hitler, Pol Pot, maybe even Adi Amin.
