Doggie has a dry eye....
 

My 12/13 year old lhaso apso(sp?), has developed a "dry eye".

Any of you pet lovers out there ever experience this with yours?

The vet told me to keep it moist several times a day with some artificial tears to see if it stimulates tear production but I am not around for hours at a time as you can imagine.

I ordered some stuff from 1800petsmed.com that claims I only have to use it twice a day.

Suggestions?

He also gave me the # for a doggie opthomalogist who apparently is always busy and very expensive.
