Yes,well,we all subscribe to our own choice set of hypocrisies whether they be promulgated under the portmanteau of"organised religion"or assume a more personal form,perhaps even more intolerant,hubris ridden and based upon the most risibly childish fantasies of power,greed,retribution,lust and even kindness and moral suasion.

Personally what I've learned from human nature leads me to conclude it's all bull**** to salve our insecurities and rationalise the denial of death,my own beliefs or rather questions in this regard are all extremely silly as well so why should I ridicule another person's coping mechanisms when my own are so ridiculous.

What is this, a gathering of the chronically incurious? I've been wanting to read the Koran for some time so I might have a chance to someday say, "but brother, the holy Koran specifically states...." and proceed to demonstrate to some jihaddist whack job that he's ignoring important parts of his sacred text.

Of course, it wouldn't work. Just like pointing out to onward, Christian soldiers that their attitudes and actions fly hard in the face of the words of the Prince of Peace.
