1987 rear window regulator

1987 rear window regulator

My right rear window on a 1987 300 TD will go down but not up. I have changed the regulator with a known replacement but the problem persists. I have checked the wires and they appear to be in good condition. Both the door switch and the front console switch appear to be working.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
