To all you dad's out there- Happy Father's Day- how did you spend your day, tell us alittle something about yourself and your children.

We had that day like half a year ago or something... it sure aint today in norway.. :eek:

They made me breakfast (scrambled eggs, grits, and sausage), gave me gifts, and generally treated me like a king. I thank God everyday that my kids act nothing like I did when I was their age!

had oatmeal and ham at the local greasy spoon with my son, his wife and my grandson #2.

then in after noon my lovely #4 daughter took me to see 'cars' the movie. i enjoyed it a lot more than i expected to. it was a cleverly detailed nostalgic look back at cars. also ate a big glob of theater popcorn.

Of our 7 kiddo's, only one was home this weekend...I got up early, mowed the lawn, did a load of laundry then laid around until dinner time, made chicken/ green pepper/onion kabob's, grilled corn on the cob and baked potatoes on the grille, then went to the office and did paperwork for several hours. Called my dad in Cincinnati too.

I put together my new smoker. :)

Then I cleaned house. Why? Because inlaws arrived today.

I didn't put on shoes the whole weekend and I drank some good beer and ate a perfectly cooked T-bone and got laid.

I also called my wife long distance. (Just kidding!)

My 14 year old daughter and wife made me brunch and then we went to the annual old car Sunday in the park. 1200 cars , about 10,000 people :cool: . Then we visited my wife's father (they live next to the park) and went for dinner. I called my father after dinner , he was at my sister's. I napped. My daughter's birthday falls near Father's Day anyway, so it's a wash.
