Ahh I am issed off but I lost that letter. Darn sticky keys. I washed it in the bathtub to get the juice out but now everything is a bit slow, and I have some key trying to acess something.

My queston mark is still down.

Unplug it, give it a shower (bathroom type), grip it tightly and swing it and shake it to get most of the water out. Let it dry and it should work fine. If not, you would need to replace it anyway.

I am not joking. That method has been used many times around the world. I wouldn't swear by it but I even read it in a computer rag. Having a few of the Microsoft Naturals or curved keyboards always kicking around, I haven't had to try it but . . . I would. Call me nuts.

Good luck,
Steve

I have silled stuff on keyboards before. Usually a quick wash under running water will fix it. But now I lost a few letters, hmm off to the air comressor. If you dont hear back from me it didnt work, bury me and move on.

juice?

What was mixed in that juice Hatteras? Alcohol usually dries out pretty quick.

I use a wireless keyboard and mouse for my desktop. Every once in a while the keyboard goes bunkers (hence some of my postings here ). the only way to get it to work right...is to remove the batteries...bang on the keys for a couple of minutes (to empty out the capacitors) and then reconnect it.

If it wasn't for the convenience I'd go back to a wired keyboard.

Hattie, next time don't drink and surf at the same time.

Hat, you need to sto drinking "juice" next to the comuter.

Actually, I have a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse combo. That think is a beast. It has been through hell and back many, many times. I spilled soda on it, dropped food in it, you name it, it has been done. I just took apart my keyboard, cleaned it with contact cleaner, and reassembled. Works like a charm.
