yep.
the earth is so old we cant even imagine it.
the most graphic evidence is in the geology on display out west where there are mountains and buttes and little vegetation to obscure it all.
the tops of the buttes are thousands of feet tall and up on top is ancient sea bottom. the rest is eroded away!
best evidence i have seen.
