Sucks to be the 13 year old kid. Imagine the trauma to have to see your... uhm, what do you call her.. go to jail. Just saw her on TV. Dang she's hot!

I've never gotten into it with the proverbial jail bait but, Lord help me, I can understand the urge. Something about young women (or boys, I'm sure) in the first blush of hormonal surging, they put out a mojo you can feel across the room. When I used to be in a little ballet school in Seattle some of those teenage girls put my stomach through fits (a buddy of mine's girlfriend was a teacher there, she roped about 5 of us into what was essentially a full scholarship -- unlimited classes -- if we'd agree to do the rehersals and appear in the spring recital).

There was one especially, she was later Miss Nevada in the Miss World or maybe Miss USA pageant, about 14 at the time and horny as the day is long. One time, I didn't even know she was in the room, she came in after I was at the bar facing the other way -- suddenly I had this 'oh mah ghod, that feels good' feeling in my solar plexus -- I turned around and she was looking at me with a look that would melt stainless steel.

I wasn't especially handsome or anything, just male. Thank God I didn't mess up behind that action.

Bizarre coincidence, the lady that ran the school, Verla Flowers, was the first dance teacher for Mark Morris, the choreographer, when he was about age 5 to 17. He came in and taught a few classes way before he was famous, around '77 -'78, gay and self-absorbed as could be. Still, I was so happy for Verla's sake cuz he'd mention her name prominently in all of his magazine interviews that I read. She was some kind of force.
