OK, to change the subject slightly from the depressing news about wars, rising oil prices, etc., I have this question for you guys and gals?

What are your favorite Benz TV commercials?

For me, these are my all-time favorite commercials:

1. The one where they show photographs of different Benz owners, mostly with their older (or first) Benz. Very nostalgic and it shows strong brand loyalty and a link with the past.

2. The Christmas commercial where a Benz drives down a snow-covered street, in the middle of the night, and appliances, and street signs and storefront displays follow the Benz. Very imaginative.

3. The current "American Graffiti" series of commercials. Nice vibe and energy to them.

Which are your favorite Benz commercials?

A few years ago, they had one with Etta James singing "At Last" to the intro--- great commercial.

Wasn't that a Cadillac commercial? I remember it, but the song is what stands out most for me.

I like Reincarnation as well.

I think the one where they sang "Stayin Alive" with the ML320 was interesting. I like the lateral roll test.

This is a big file, but the commercial, and the mood it creates, is absolutely stunning.
