Kissinger's da man...
Cant think of a better secretary of state to send as a special envoy. He has more credibility with the world and the ME on both sides than the whole Bush admin put together.
His cojones are tested and true, you don't survive Nixon's ball busting without being a true champion.  Check this out: http://www.state.gov/secretary/former/40813.htm Edit Powell will be a great alternative as well

Neo-Con Gone Wild
 Aren't those right of center folks always chomping at the bit? They're a little wrinkled that Condi's letting up a bit, and Newt's looking to run for pres in '08. When these articles start making sense just remember, there were no weapons of mass destruction, regardless of how loud and how often these same folks said there were.

OMG, I hope Newt, now there is a character lower than snake snot, he had his wife served with divorce papers while she was in the hospital recovering from breast cancer surgery. Kissinger would be good I agree. albright was very good too.
