Need help electronics question for headlights
 

I finally found a realistic looking set of headlights for the 1 car I love more then my MBZ. I need a little help powering them I have 2 sources of power 1 a 4.8 V NiCad 4 AAA cell battery pack the other varies from 6 to 14 cell sub c NiCad or a 11.1 volt
Lithium Polymer battery pack so the likely power supply is the 4.8 VDC I require 3.6 V at 1/3 amp continuous DC power for the lights so my question is what do I need to install in series ? with the lights so they wont draw to many volts or to much current from my battery pack and I might as well ask as soon as I can afford a litho battery to replace the 4 cell nicad pack then I will have a 3.7 volt battery with I believe is unlimited until it explodes current how do I power these lights of a single cell lithium polymer battery cell. I have 1 set of these custom made LED packs and bezels with 0 chance of getting another set so I would hate to smoke them. Any help is greatly appreciated in advance

300ma sounds like a lot for LED's. Is this the combined current of a number of them? If so, you need to limit each individually.

there is 1 led in each headlight it can draw current as high as one amp pulsed these are some bright leds that just happen to be in a pretty realistic looking head light shell for a 1/8 scale car. They are from a large companies R and D department from a cancelled project so I would be big time bummed to get something I have spent 9 years looking for and trying to make because I took my best guess and was wrong and just got to se a 1 second flash of light as they blew up
