88 560SEL 18,886 miles!!!
I was just browsing EBay and came across this amazing 1988 560 SEL for sale with just 18,866 miles. White/Grey. Talk about a time warp.
(p.s. I have NO connection with this car, unfortunately)

That car is about an hour away from me,I really want to stop by and take a look at it.Some other guy on ebay has some very low mileage 560's as well.

That sure is a nice 126!
I noticed that the door check strap looks white....aren't they usually goldish colored (unpainted)? You suppose they bought the car from Glauser (SRQ, FL) and drove/hauled it to PA, just because they figured they can get more $$ for it up there? (126 are not in short supply here) A couple of years ago, Glauser had a 560 with around 27k miles, and was asking around $25k for it.

Im pretty sure thats what this person did.I remember a Mercedes dealership selling a 560SEL with this kind of mileage.I dont remember if it was Glauser,but this seems like the same one.

According to the picture of the sevice booklet, it has been driven 244 miles since August of 2001. Hope that wasn't the last service, 5 year old oil, trans fluid, brake fluid, etc., not good. I wonder how old the tires are? Must have been in a climate controlled garage, engine compartment looks like it still has German fingerprints on it. Low on coolant though. He will probably get his buy it now price for it. Hopefully it doesn't become "fluid holding challenged" after it gets into the hands of it's proud new owner. I would rather pay that kind of money for that car than buy a new one with all of the electonics to break (if I had that kind of money). Even with the possible issues, that sure is sweet.

A 560SEL is always worth the money,same as the W140's.Those older Benzs are still being driven by most Diplomats and others.That 560SEL is just gorgeous and has a nice color combo.That car will sell no problem.
