Well guys part two of the "law suit" against the dead beat contractor took place yesterday and Mistress Heather won this part too. Known as interrogitories, under oath I was permitted to ask him anything I wanted about his finances and he was suppose to answer truthfully. When we were done, he agreed to pay me $400.00 a month (yes I got it in writing) until the debt was paid and he was shaking. I told him this all could have been avoided if he made an effort to try and pay this debt but he didn't and he must suffer the consequences. What the heck- did he think I was going to just go away?

Well, now you're married to him, and he probably won't make more than a payment or two..... You should have kept a body part (your choice) as collateral...

Nothing worth keeping. I can't believe he showed up to court looking like he fell out of bed. I mean really, you go to court you should at least show up showered. This guy stunk, literally. Mistress Heather doesn't like marriage, too much paperwork.

I sure do love it when they actually show up and they have assets or a job where you can garnish wages.

I'm never that fortunate with the rentals.........don't show.......don't work...........can't pay.

Were you able to get a wage garnishment.........or does he have no wages because he's an independent contractor??

That's the next step- if he defaults on the payments then I drag his giant carcass back to court to file a summons for garnishment. I don't feel sorry for this joker he lives in a million dollar house and drives a very nice mini van. He started whining about having a fiance and four kids, I wanted to tell him to keep his pants zipped, not my problem!

I'm not holding my breath. The fact that he showed up yesterday was a feat unto itself, he obviously contacted an attorney.
