What it's all about.

I took my 9 year old on an over night camping trip Friday/Saturday. We had good dry wood and a new tent. Dinner and breakfast was a dish of BBQ'ed baked beans seasoned and blended with bacon and chicken, with a toasted buttered roll.
I drank Yuengling Chesterfield ale and he drank Dr. Pepper.
It was a really good time.
Every trip we take he seems to mature a little, less wanting to handle the 'knife' and fiddle with the fire, and more able to relax and appreciate the moment and the place.
The water was way too low where we camped so mid afternoon we drove to a spot reserved for fishermen 12 and under. It was a nice deep pool on a creek (Tom's Run) a few hundred yards upstream of where it enters the Clarion river.
He laid into the water about 4:30pm with a smallish weight about 18" from the night crawler, he hooked 7 and landed his first six trout. Three rainbow a brown and a brook made up his creel limit of 5 (6:00pm). He brought them home and ate them with his family 3 hours later.
I had a great weekend.

I'm glad someone else drinks Yuengling too. It's my favorite beer which every body seems to hate in my dorm.

Good for you & your kid, A2.
