History Of The Forum Part I
 

Following in the steps of the three and seven word story, I thought it might be fun to construct a "History of the Forum Part I" story add what you like but remember to keep it funny...

Long, long ago in a space called "etherville" there lived a collective of brilliant, funny and gramatically noteworthy folks who....

so happened to own some of the greatest pieces of automotive engineering ran into a problem...

They couldn't decide wether to use Hengst filters filled with sticks and stones, or some other brand; to complicate matters, they couldn't all agree on what brand and weight oil to use. To get their minds off of these things they decided...

To buy the camshaft, rocker arms, cam towers and valve stem seals that RAYMOND485 keeps peddling.

though his remedys never worked, everyone still needed someplace to meet so they could solve these problems

and be able to look at pretty girls, while contemplating which smilie to use in their next post.

Then GILLY was made moderator, CRUSHED the evil "Pretty Girls Thread", and BANNED all the innocent townspeople!!! HEH HEH HEH HEH.........

then the great server crash of 05 occured and many threads were lost

First I wanted a MB, then I realized that with such a car group support is needed to get one through ownership:D So I came to OD, as a new member. Had some fun, argued a bit but I wanted more...:D


Then I staged a coup and overthrew Gilly, now I'm in charge!(evil laugh):D

And through it all the "dog" threads keep a comin'.

but in spite of being here since April, Dee8go never realized there was a "Dog" thread on this forum. I like dogs, Frank. Where are those dog threads? Are there cat threads as well?

Just do a search for "dog". Same for cat. But I don't remember any cat threads. I think there was a "pet" thread not too long ago.

and they have all gone the way of the great Doctor Bonerhead...
