Thumbs up Great inspirational father/son story

Hi Guys and Gals,

I received this from a friend a few days ago.
Read the entire text before watching the video.
It's a wonderful story of love and dedication between a
father and a disabled son proving that the challenges we face in
life may simply be stepping stones to much greater things.

I hope you enjoy it!!

Team Hoyt is awesome. Did you know Dick had a heart attack and didn't know it? I posted a link sometime back. Everytime I look at them I promise to never complain again.

Those guys are awesome. I hear about them every now and then -- I have run a few marathons and folks talk about the likes of those fellows -- and am always amazed and humbled when I hear more about their story. Thanks for posting!

My kid is asleep. Yesterday he got stung by a bee and took it quite well. I just went in to check on him. It's f*cking amazing what ran through my mind. I actually panicked for a bit when I thought of all that could go wrong. Then I thought of Ray's (carson356) kid and I wonder how he's doing.

I really thank my lucky stars that I'm as fortunate as I've been. Dunno what I did to deserve it.

Ray, if you're out there, I hope everything's OK and wish you the best. You're one of the strongest people I know, well, sorta.

I have watched the video twice now, and I'm sure I'll have another go before I head home today. Then I'll have to show the wife at home, of course! Thanks so much for posting this; it's just what I needed today. This is such a moving story. To think that what many would consider being dealt a crappy hand in life is actually such a blessing for Dick Hoyt; what an amazing man (and son).
