Ideas? See recent 'Stoned Profesor' thread...

Kidding aside, I usually find that a good run clears my head and relaxes me at the same time.

Nothing

When I was younger, the answer was nothing, meaning I rarely took the time to relax. Now, the answer is nothing, meaning doing nothing at all is the most relaxing thing I can think of.

Most of the hobbies I have had end up being too stressful, because I get so intense and involved in them that they cease to be relaxing anymore.

Good luck in your quest for relaxation.

Thanks, Black

Okay, you reminded me there ARE a few things that are relaxing.

Walking with my girl friend and good sex. THAT's relaxing. Intense, but relaxing. I guess it's been too long if I forgot to mention that the first time. . .

I retreat to the dungeon where I practice Yoga and if it's been a particularly difficult week, I'll smoke a beer.

i like pipe tobacco too, but i always use an "alternative" smoking material. It really helps me to relax. I work 10-12 hours a day and with the way i feel right now, it really helps to be able to just come home, sit down in my recliner and not think about anything except getting all the seeds out.

I guess I missed something. What's up with you Diesel? I'm sorry you're not feeling too well.

Yeah, definitely get all the seeds out first or else avoid wearing synthetics. I put on a new UnderArmor tee shirt the other day and lit up (a cigar) only to discover a big hole in the front when I got up to go inside.

i have a chronic form of Guillen-Barre syndrome called CIDP (chronic inflamatory demylineating polyneuropathy) and it makes my legs and hands hurt, makes it difficult to walk, and makes me tire easily. It's all i can do right now to keep the job. i'm getting treatment for it and slowly i am getting better.

I'm sorry to hear that

Is that something from which you can recover, Bill, or does "chronic" mean that it's a permanent condition? I've never heard of it before.

I'm sorry to hear you have it, though.
