Value of used Ipod?
 

I have a chance to get a used (supposedly only for a few weeks) 30GB video ipod, as well as an FM tuner and carrying case. A quick search on ebay reveals that I could buy this stuff for $300. So what do you think I should offer for it used?
I guess a more important question is if this thing works, does it work? I know its not a good idea to buy used computers and other electronics, because they might be messed up, but what about an ipod?

ilounge.com will give you a better idea... the 30 gig vid sold for 300$ new and the other things shouldnt affect the price that much.. id offer 250.. or just spend 250$ on a new 30 gig gen 5.5 and 35$ on an iskin evo II like i did ...

I'm pretty cheap, especially when it comes to "luxury items" (air conditioning, ipods, cameras, working radio). I just don't have any extra money. Thanks for the tips, I feel that $200 is a fair price, which I offered and he isn't the least bit interested. I'll wait until the price goes down in a year or two.
