The exercise is definitely baffling. Wonder what the psychology behind that is.

Might have to do with the amount of letters in aforementioned root vegetable.

On the second one, I knew about the trick and still managed to come up short. Guess I won't be looking down my nose at anyone in the near future!

I just noticed that you are from Willamette Valley....that must be awesome. 95% of the Pinot Noirs I drink come from that region, I can safely assume that it's the best Pinot in the world. I'm not just basing that on drinking a bottle here and there....I usually have a bottle of wine at least once a week. I love fine wine.
