How are mid-90's BMW's

Once again, I have a hook on another nice car. How hard are these to maintain. Anything in particaular to look for (known problems)? It's a 1994 3 series.

Matt have a 92 325Ic - sweet car gives me little trouble. Lot's of good tech information out there and parts availability is good and affordable. You will find the three series through 98 to be pretty tough little girls.

My cousins had a bunch, never had any real issues with them. The 318 is a dog btw.

Today I saw a . . .

Today I saw a Bimmer with the badge "L6" on the rear trunk lid. I've never seen that before. Anybody know anything about it? It may have even been a late 80's model from the look of the body. It was pretty nice looking and appeared to have been well-cared for.

The L6 was nice for that era. I recall the L stood for Leather-wrapped. I still remember reading the glossy full-page ads in R&T and MT in junior high school...

had a buddy back in 8th grade who's dad owned an L7. Beautiful car, especially on the inside. Rode like a dream as well. I do recall them having to replace the starter and flywheel to a tune of almost 2000 dollars though! ouch!

I just came back from driving mountain passes in Washington's Cascade range in my '87 325i and it ran like a fast sewing machine. It was very well maintained by it's original owner so I'm blessed. 251+ K and it's a bulletproof rocket.

I imagine the engine is a different series in yours but they seem to have the 6 banger down pretty well.
