Dr. Strangelove was on TV the other day again. Every time I watch this flick, I find more humor and parody. Just the anticipation of the next gag gets me laughing out loud. My wife hates the movie and thinks I'm nuts.

I was too young back then, but does anybody here remember what the reaction was to this flick? Did the Rooskies have anything to say? What about our government, military, etc?

Favorite line was the one something like "We can't be fighting in the War Room".

And I liked the comedic build-up on the survival kit, and Pickens saying something about it being a great weekend kit.

Riding the bomb down was the best.
