rental car tracking - going out of state

Enterprise has a rental provision for unlimited miles in state or 150 miles/day if you take the car out of state. I assume this is not on an honor system. Does this mean they track the car's georgraphic location at all times?

When I retire, I'll read all the fine print I skipped over earlier in life
