Exclamation Boycott "Unaccompanied Minors" movie

Just saw a trailer of Unaccompanied Minors on TV just now. Not only does it look like a really stupid movie but in the trailer they show a nice looking maroon W123 sedan exploding after a Christmas tree goes through the front winshield. Not sure of the model but it was very upsetting to see.
Not that I feel that everyone here in the forum will rush to get in line on opening night to see this piece of trash but I felt it was worth mentioning to those who cherish their W123's.

Big deal. Not much worse than seeing them beat on by old hippies who change the oil every 30K and run cold veggie oil through them.

and in Superman returns, superman crushes a W123 wagon with a big bolder or something. You can see that in the commercial for the superman dvd.

Relax, it was one of Graydon's old beaters. He has done more than his share of returning old MB's to their former glory.

Well I don't think it was a Diesel if it exploded by getting hit by a Christmas Tree...

My I sumit this excerpt from the movie Patton:

We'd send over a 20mm shell, the krauts would return am'. Their tanks are diesels. Even when we managed to hit one they kept on running. Our tanks... The men call them "Purple Heart boxes." One hot piece of shrapnel and the gasoline explodes.

It even has a biodiesel sticker on the front bumper

Looks a little beat though, missing hubcaps and some beltline trim (and the hood emblem!)

Yeah I saw that and was pretty annoyed, of all the cars they can destroy, why an innocent old MB?! The car looked "ok" but it obviously was not in the best of shape. For all we know it could have had a trashed interior....dead engine...etc....they probably found it in a salvage yard.

No matter what they destroy, somebody is going to be unhappy about it and there are only so many cars that will fit the criteria so what does anybody suggest?

I don't think anyone would care if they blew up an old K car.

What, you're not supposed to do that?

The 123's seem to be the mad bomber's car of choice in the M.E., too.
