need help with vacum system........'91 FORD
 

I have a 91 ford areostar and i need to fix the vacum system so that the dampers will open and close. where can i find replacement parts?

You DO know that this is a mercedes forum, right? Try the dealer.

Some Fords have a vacuum generator to operate the system. I understand these generators are no longer available. I hope this is not your problem.

First get a vacuum pump(hand held)hook it to each of the valves you wish to check,this is to find out if one is a leeker,that may be your only problem.
Dose it fail when under hard acceleration?Dose it fail under breaking?ID THE PROBLEM.If you have that solved try auto zone,my wife has a 95 model and we get parts from that source.j-n-t:behead:
