karma.....
so .. i skipped class today (passing all of them with A's) to go get a damage estimate at the dealership.. which is supposed to be free... or was at one point and find out it is not... oh but thats not what sucks...
not 1 mile from the exit i get pulled over by floridas finest state troopers.... apparently i was speeding 64 in 55 zone.. but i thought it was 65 because before the corner or w/e it was 65.. so it drops all of a sudden like that...what a trap.... i pull over and all the stuff.. do the procedure... i should have said my spedo was off and thats why i was going to go get service... but i didnt.. i dont know why but it wouldnt come.. .but the officer did say he would put my speed at 64 instead of the 66 i was going.. so my ticket is 76$ if i take the online class ($30) which means no points or insurance rates going up... i didnt even say.. speeding in this diesel.. ha... but i didnt... just did the proper thing.... damn traffic signs and their immediate changingness.... and i didnt even get an inspection....

I remember back in HS we used to skip school to take my friends boat out. Blew off a lot of science class, but I graduated so.
 To them! Those speed traps are BS.

(i go speed limit) and speed traps are bs... i was caught with a laser speed finder... which is pretty accurate... but what sucks is they didnt pull all the cars around me that were passing me and such... i got singled out because of my car i bet... oh well.. ill pay the fine and be more careful... dear santa.. i would like a radar detector for xmas

You just had a string of bad luck. You sound like my dad, he obeys all traffic laws and drives real slow, yet he gets the tickets!
I use the highway as my personal autobahn, drive in the gutter, double the local speed limit, never get bothered and if I do talk my way right out of it.

Just tell the trooper your speedo was reading the correct speed limit. All he can give you would be a ticket for defective vehicle, no matter your speed unless it's REALLY excessive of the posted limit (like 15+).
Whenever you do get pulled over, DO NOT say how fast your were going. It's their job to prove your actual speed and you can make it worse if you say a number higher than they caught you at. That's why the first thing they ask you is "Do you know how fast you were going?" It's not about safety, it's about station revenue. I drive as fast as I feel I'm safe. If the speed limit is 55 and people are passing me doing 80, I'm going to be doing 80 as well. It also helps to keep an eye out for trap cars, learn their trap techniques, know what "unmarked" cars they use, and where they frequently hide.
