I have almost everyone trained to not forward umteen emails to me everyday, when someone does send me too much crap I usually ask them to stop but some of them don't. I have a family member that forwards at least 10 emails a day and once or twice a month something that is important is caught between the jokes-forwards-fake news articles ect so here is what I did.

I set up a filter that filters anything from him with "FW:" in the subject and they all go to the trash can.

Gmail rules, I only get a handfull of spam mail in the box, 99% is right into the trash can.

My work email is fair about tagging spam. Most of those that do go through are stock touts. It's interesting to watch the activity on these stocks when I see these messages.

This situation is a family member forwarding every chain mail he gets which I have been ignoring but my Blackberry is overwhelmed with dumb ass messages. So anything that is forwarded from another address to to the junk box and not my Blackberry.

I generally send them an email requesting them to stop sending dumbass messages, and if they persist, I block their emails with outlook, then they call, and I unlock them if they promise not to send anymore dumbass messages. Works for me.

Well I called and you keep sending those pictures of kitten's and crap with stupid comments like "hang in there' .

Any similarity to a Dingleberry ?
