anyone ever use one of these spinners?

http://www.do-alltraps.com/shootinggallery.php

they seem like they would be too low off the ground to shoot standing up. am i wrong?

depends on how far away you are. If you're shooting with a .22 or bigger, likely the instructions will tell you to be 30 yards away to keep from destroying it quickly. I have one in the backyard, and shoot it off the back deck (yes, I do shoot shotguns and rifles off the back deck). So I am a lot higher than it is. A little difficult, but fun. I wouldn't think they'd be fun with anything less than a .22, because paintball, bb, and airsoft guns aren't that accurate, and I can't see them spinning the target too well. Its really fun to have a target with three spinners on it, and try to keep em all spinning.

I don't see where it would be a problem. I had a guy weld one for me that is 5 ft. tall and shaped like an upside down "U" that has the spinners hanging down--we shoot it with hi-pos, shotgun slugs, ect!
