My Fiance and I had our Baby 2 weeks ago. I made this compilation video as a sort of sentimental push gift for her.

Our Son was Born 12/11/06 at 10:35 PM by C Section.
He weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and was 19.5" long.

We named him Benjamin Rafael Asherson.

Benjamin was my Grandfathers name, and was someone that was loved by everyone.

Rafael is the name of my Fiance's Uncle whose life was taken from him at the young age of 33 years old, and coincidentally is also the name of my Grandfathers Brother.

Just wanted to share with everyone our good news.

Being a new Parent, it is tough, but I would not trade it for anything. I never knew I could love something so much. Now I know how my parents feel about me, and that too changes everything.

In anycase, Enjoy. it is Windows media player and is around 13.5 megs. IT should stream fine on a high speed connection, but if need be right click and save as to view it.

What a beautiful baby boy. The video was very very touching. My son and daughter were born a little over three years ago, and it brought back all the memories like it happened yesterday.

I am very happy for you, and I know you'll make a great father. :)

Congrats, Ash. Being a dad is not easy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Wait until he's a teenager! It gets tougher as you go, but you get wiser while they're growing up, so it all averages out in the end.

If you have half as much fun with Benjamin as I've had with my three kids, you're in for the time of your life.

Felicitations on your new addition! They are He looks like your wife. The births of my kids were some of the happiest moments of my life. They are lots of fun when they are newborns, and the fun only gets better as they get older. I could have the worst day in the world and when I come home and see my kids smiling faces all my worries are forgotten.

In a few of those shots (when he was looking at you - towards the left side), remember that look when, in a few years, you "surprise him" with your "all-knowing knowledge" of out-smarting him ... he'll give you that "look" like, "How did Dad know I was going to ask/do so-and-so/that?!?!

It's fun to know that they have, yet, to experience the things you and all of us have gone through...they'll learn, soon enough, that we've been through everything they are about to explore and discover.

Their looks bring us joy and make us feel younger than we should...

Congratulations to all of you. What a beautiful video. My little guy is 14 months old, and watching your video has made me realize just how much he's grown up in that short amount of time. Like you said, its hard work, but more rewarding than anyone can explain.

I had a chuckle at the segment of him having his first (?) bath at the hospital. Noah hated his first bath as well, and screamed bloody murder through the whole thing. I should mention that he got that bath from three cute student nurses. After they left I just let him know that he'll probably never be so lucky again, unless he was willing to pay for it. My wife didn't laugh so much at that.
