Free safe - you pick up

If you need a safe(s) come to Sarasota.

2 Gibraltar KC3624's And a Altas safe (no combo)

Need to dispose of in the next few days.

If nobody needs them, suggestions for disposal is welcome!

Thanks!

I sold a safe without a combo to a locksmith for $50. It was in the garage of a house I purchased. Worth a try. I just called the nearest locksmith and asked him if he was interested.
There's always Craigslist.

I am about an hour North of you, I'll talk it up, maybe it will work. They weigh about 1900 lbs each, is that correct ?

Apparently the nearest locksmith (right around the corner from the safes) isn't interested in moving them unless he has a buyer for it that day - says he doesn't have any storage space for it.

1900 lbs sounds right - Thanks!

The safes are off of US 41, just south of Bee Ridge Rd.

Would love to

I would love to, Larry, but I just can't lift as much as I could when I was younger. Thanks anyhow!:D

Wow--I can't believe you are giving them away. I have a Gibraltar that is the same size as the KC3624 that has some modifications to fit into a closet. The plain KC3624's with no modifications retail for about $5K new, IIRC. Wish I was closer I would haul one up to my hunting camp--they are perfect size for gun safe and I just have a metal door closet now for that sort of thing.

i inherited one when i bought my first office building. yeah, 2000# would not surprise me. i looked into getting it out. all alternatives involved cranes.

i eventually paid a local locksmith to pick it and give me the combo. cost maybe $50 or so. i then rented it to a tenant for $5 a month i think.
