dunno, he seems normal to me, but he did have to repeat last year. my aunt said she didn't let him even see the vid of hussein before he got executed. he could me making it up for attention, i never thought about that.

Either he is making it up for attention, in which case stamp him with the "AW" stamp and forget it or let it be. If he is strong enough to get over it, so be it. If not, it will overcome him. Either way, it is good. Didn't French children get to go watch the guillotine at work? Did they have all these psychobabble crap at that time? Thankfully not.

Does he play video games? Saddam hanging is nothing compared to gutting a German with a knife, or taking a base ball bat and killing random people. I mean something like a hanging wouldn't even be GTA material.

I'll take the OP as face value. Young kid, almost a teen, sees a disturbing and REAL video on TV, maybe it hits the kid that this is real and a once leader of a nation is about to hang by rope. So maybe it hits him on some level and he dreams about it.

I saw the video and it was disturbing.

Now I'm off to go have some bad dreams. About threads veering off-topic wildly and never endddiiiiinnnnnnnnnnngggggggg....

The way I see it, Bush paid for the whole video to be staged in a Bollywood studio, with Ben Affleck playing Saddam and Rush Limbaugh was the hangman. If you slow the video down and play it backwards, the slightly garbled arabic actually becomes the repeated phrase "spend more for the war in Iraq, spend more for the war in Iraq"...and if kids see the video, it will disturb them until the Playstation game of the event is released and they can hang Saddam in the game, thereby eliminating the dreams. A cut of the profits from the game sales directly funds Bush's war chest.
