A week without smilies

How good is you command of language? Can you get your point across without smilies or their equivalents? Let's try:

I love Nancy Pelosi! Nancy will go down in history as the first female speaker of the house in the history of our nation. She'll join women like Janet Reno, the strongest woman in politics, Lorena Bobbit, who empowered women to act, and Hilary Clinton, who made possible the impeachment of a president. I think it's great! It's about time women played an active role in politics!

i like the agenda nancy has laid out. minimum wages raise, ethics reform and several other things which escape me that sound pretty good. lets see what gets passed.

With no malice intended...

You have misspelled your intended word, which makes your question extremely ironic! I am smiling broadly as I write this.

Remember, spell check does not catch everything!

He meant to say s-i-m-i-l-i-e-s, I think, not smilies. The spell checker would not catch that.

Ethics reform? In DC? What a joke. Passing a bill won't change anything.

I work for right-brained people! Besides, since I'm not in my right mind, my left mind is kind of crowded...

The older I get the more I believe in karma.

My latest advice to our daughter, after she dropped the f-bomb one time too many for my liking:

"May you always choose your words carefully, and may they always be sweet, for you do not know when you may have to eat them!"
