Any good TV shows?

I watch so little TV these days simply because there is nothing on. 100 freaken channels of crap. Other than the History channel, Discovery, Cartoon Network's adult swim, and a good show every now and then most is crap. Its almost not worth having, as soon as they offer a couple of channels online I'll chuck it.

Nope, none.

Reruns of Seinfeld and The Simpsons for me. I don't have cable and hardly ever watch the few channels that come in clearly.

You seem to say that like it's a bad thing.

About the only thing I like to watch these days is Scrubs. Good to unwind to after work. It is a very funny, well written show. Gets very emotional as well. They seem to always play good music too. I think the earlier seasons were funnier though.
That and Monster Jam on Speed Channel. Very mindless, but man those trucks do amazing things these days. I remember the days when the wheels would fall off if they got any air at all.

Television (as explained by Woody Allen)

I think it was in "Annie Hall" that Woody Allen left NY and became successful in Hollywood, and one of his NY friends comes out to LA to visit him, and marvels at how clean Los Angeles is..

Friend: "Wow, LA is so clean, I can't believe it. In New York City, we have garbage three stories high. What do you do with all your garbage in LA?"

Woody: "Oh, we put it on TV"

According to Jim - I wish I could get away with what that guy does. Courtney Thorne Smith is a babe too.

We get a couple of Korean stations on our cable service and they have some really good dramas. I watch more of that than regular TV lately.

I watch CSI (the original one) and Overhaulin with Chip Foose. I ocassionally watch American Chopper.

This season's new tv shows are pretty good IMHO.

I'm enjoying 30 Rock, which is hilarious, and I'm getting into Men In Trees with Anne Heche, with is basically a chick show, but it ain't too bad.

Courtney Cox is also starring in a new series on the FX channel called Dirt, and it is a very nasty show, kind of like Sex and the City, but more perverted.

Boston Legal. Spader and Shatner have the best guy/guy friendship on TV.

House....though I tire of rerun season.

I like anything involving vehicle construction and/or makeovers (American Chopper, Overhaulin', Trick My Truck, and Monster Garage). I USED to enjoy Pimp My Ride, but I grew tired of the show's premise...take a beater, slap on wild paint, rims, and upholstery, and then some gimmicky audio/video setup that once completed, no owner would DARE venture out in the revamped ride, much less leave it parked unattended!

Extreme Home Makeover is a feel-good show as well.
