need some advise

hey guys, i have ventured into gas cars a bit and would like to ask the basic diference between a 130.983 engine from 86 to 89.
i bought a 1989te wagon with bad engine, and can get a 1986 reasonable, so how much trouble can i expect on the swap?
thanks for the time

That would be a 103.983, and not too much difference. I would note that the cars in question have entirely different transmissions, though...
