shiping a large part

My girl friend has a 65 VW Ghia and she bought a pan (basically the hole frame of the car) from a guy in Idaho well we live in Illinois and the shipping companies what a small fortune to ship the thing it would fit in the back of a full size pickup turck, I have a buddy that lives in Wyoming and he would be willing to bring it back with him to Illinois next time he come back home I just need to find some one who would be willing to get it from Idaho to Wyoming or at least close to there Im sure he would be willing to go a little ways to get it for me, I would be willing to pay for your time and services, if any one is interested or knows of some one who may be please let me know I hate to pay 900 bucks to ship it here when the part was only 300

Also try www.freightquote.com. (unless you already have!) I got a decent quote from them once.
