my cat finally came home.

hes been missing for about a week. we thought for sure he was dead. i came home from work tonight and he finally came home. he must have fought for his life. hes missing most of his claws, hes missing flesh here and there, but most of all, hes missing about half of his tail. hes very skinny as if he has been working his way home.

just thought i would share.

OMG! Poor kitty! I'm happy that he is now home and safe. Do the right thing and take care of him. I'm not a cat person, but I can only imagine if that happened to my dog. I'd be a psycho.

That is not nice! Hey, that looked really traumatic for that cat. I have a really good sense of humor but that was not funny.
I'm relieved that your cat made it home. Wonder how he got so lost? You make it seem like he got stuck under a car that drove off to the other side of town. You kitty must really love you to fight his way back. Did you need to take him to the vet for those injuries?

That first sentence refers to the Utube video cat wash.

Glad your cat made it home. My cat got hit by a car a couple of years ago and he made it home. He had a broken tooth and some scrapes but no broken bones.

I read that cats will be close by when missing but their wild side comes out and they become solitary. They can even hear you calling but won't come because they are freaked out. The same cat was gone for a couple of days once when there was a heavy snow storm. I was in worse shape than the kids, and was very relieved when he returned. The two cats we have even tolerate my four year old, so I know they are good cats.

this is alittle off topic.i'd like your opinion.a buddy of mine runs a business,he has about 10-12 employee's about 7 or 8 of which are mexicans.last week he finally had enough of one of em and fired him, well the guy gets all pissed off and on his way out the door he takes a swing at my buddies dog,and punches him right in the nose.well this buddy was a state wrestling champion back in his high school days and 20 years later he still looks like "john rambo".well this mexicans actions were like punching him so he takes the guy and shoves him out in a snowbank, and was gonna hold him down while his wife called the cops, well a couple punches got thrown and not 5 minutes after that guy leaves the cops show up and arrest my buddy for assault. i know if it was my dog i would have done the same thing how about you??

There's old brother Johnson,
Had troubles of his own.
He had an old yellow cat
That wouldn't leave his home.
Done everything he knew
To give the cat away,
But he gave him to the preacher,
And he told him for to stay.

Chorus: But the cat came back.
I thought he was a goner,
But the cat came back.
The very next day
The cat came back.
I thought he was a goner,
But the cat came back,
For he wouldn't stay away.

The cat, he had some company
One night in the yard.
Somebody throwed a bootjack;
He throwed it mighty hard.
Struck the cat behind the ear,
And I thought it rather slight,
When along come a brickbat
And knocked him out of sight.

(Chorus)

The Italian peddler
Who owned the peanut stand
Had a little organ
That he played with his hand.
The cat, he loved the organ,
So everybody said.
When he played the Bumbarade (?),
The cat fell dead,
But his ghost came back.
I thought he was a goner,
But his ghost came back
The very next day.
His ghost came back.
I thought he was a goner,
But his ghost came back,
For he wouldn't stay away.

The man, he give the cat
To a man in a balloon.
He told him for to give him
To a man in the moon.
Balloon, it bursted,
I heard some say,
When seven miles away,
He picked the man up dead.

Mine too

My cat (Ollie) has been missing for 3 months. No sign of him either. I checked every place I could imagine but still no Ollie. Best I can figure either a fox, or an opossum or maybe an owl got him.

OMG- glad your cat made it home. I am a cat person and have rescued quite a few including one that was found in the middle of the road after someone with a truck was trying to run over it on purpose, this was a kitten mind you.

I would have beat the hell out of him. I nearly got into a fight myself once because a friend of my cousin blew cigar smoke in my dogs face.

Hunter S. Thompson followed the Hell's Angels for over a year becaue he wanted to write a book about them. It finally came to and end one night when Hunter was sitting there at a party watching one of the Angels beat the hell out of his girlfriend. As the Angel pushed his girlfriend to the ground one last time and the said Angels dog came up and growled at thim and tried to bite him. The Angel quickly turned and kicked the dog. At that point Hunter got up and took a swing at the Angel and quickly got the **** beat out of him by more than on Angel.

When i was in middle school we had a big black tomcat that went missing for two years. He came back home and was fine, plus he had been trained to use the toilet.

I hope your kitty cat is ok.

Having had a dog run away before, I completely understand and can sympathize. I'm happy for you.

Nine lives. Cats are wierd like that. Especially males. I have 3 cats (all outdoor) and the male will disappear for a week or 2 at a time. Comes back a little scruffed up everytime. But I swear he has a smile on his face. Lucky bastard.
