I think it's pretty good actually. I don't see what the big deal is, or why someone would be offended. I'm changing mine, as soon as I can figure out how it's done again. I did it once, and want to change it again. It just isn't offensive enough...lol

Personally I don't have a problem with it but.
It is the Reich-Adler (The Nazi eagle of the Nazi Luftwaffe) minus the hakenkreuz (swastika) and yes, TheDon had a similar Reich-Adler with a Mercedes Star under it for awhile and the mods made him remove it, I believe. I think he has a site of his own now where he is using it. It's called the OBK (Oil Burner Kartel) check out Surf-n-Turf's avatar above ^^^ for a picture of it. |
Well, this is America. So, what the heck? It's a matter of individual jugdement.
If it would be Germany, displaying any 'Third Reich' symbolism is prohibited by federal law and prosecuted. |
well, I guess I'd be wise now to state for the record that to spite the implied Nazi connotations, I'll point out that it's a bird, holding the mercedes Tri-star.
I do no condone anti-semitism or any other racist beliefs. I personally have no German heritage. I'm Ukranian/French, let's see you find a cool looking crest from their militaries! :) The only real connection is an I hope is obvious is that Mercedes cars are german. we call them Panzers, affectionately, does THAT offend anyone? ANYWAYS... yeah.. |
Look. Now I'm happy fruit loop face. Big deal. My politics are the same and my desire to teach and learn in Diesel and tech help is unchanged. Oh well.

It's fine with me.
