I wanted to take German but I thought Spanish would be more practical. I've had two years in hs, which was mostly a joke but I'm on my second semester in college and I'm really learning a lot. Hopefully I can spend either the spring or fall semester of '08 in Argentina, which would give me an automatic minor in Spanish. Probably after I graduate, I want to go back and learn German, maybe like night classes or something.

There is a problem with addressing Mercedes Benz in female gender.
If you really wanted to address "her" as a female you would have to leave "meiner" out. Than you could say "Sie kann kein English ..."

Allerdings.

Dem Physiker.
»In's Innre der Natur –«
O du Philister! –
»Dringt kein erschaffner Geist
Mich und Geschwister
Mögt ihr an solches Wort
Nur nicht erinnern!
Wir denken: Ort für Ort
Sind wir im Innern.
»Glückselig! wem sie nur
Die äußre Schale weis't!«
Das hör' ich sechzig Jahre wiederholen.
Ich fluche drauf, aber verstohlen;
Sage mir tausend, tausendmale:
Alles giebt sie reichlich und gern;
Natur hat weder Kern
Noch Schale,
Alles ist sie mit einemmale;
Dich prüfe du nur allermeist,
Ob du Kern oder Schale seist!
