Interesting Craigslist advertisement

They're looking for a '98-'02 Mercedes Wagon in Austin for a feature film shoot. Not affiliated, but thought someone might want to know about it.

Your car in a film shoot = your car trashed by folks who don't give a rat's ass about it.

That has happened to a few folks I know of, and the only case I know of where it didn't happen was when my Dad drove my Great-Grandmother's '63 Caddy in the made-for-TV movie "Unconquered."

It could end up like the Lincoln Continental in Animal House.

The cars are typically crashed or drilled for camera mounts.

Ni modo!

My house, however, has been used in film shoots.

It is an interesting experience to get kicked out of your house while they film.
