unable to open the trunk
Even with the key, I am unable to open the trunk on a 1999 C280 to change a dead battery. Help!

gads! i had the same issue but on an older 420sel. i got me a big a$$ drill and drilled it out. maybe there are some more civilized options available for a newer ride;)

get a 4x4(ya know wood) and hit the area below the lock.. maybe it will work like it does on the W123 ;)
