Need AMG body parts for 123 coupe A.S.A.P.

Car is going to the body shop.
Anyone have any 123 AMG coupe parts to sell me quickly? Front spoiler/Air-Dam, Side Spoiler Kit, Or rear spoiler, or any other parts that were AMG options? Anything at all is appreciated. Especially the parts needing to be painted. Most importantly the Front Air-Dam though. Want everything painted from the same batch, if at all possible. So I need to expedite purchase of any parts.
Not interested in mechanical parts, just body. Only going for the look, because the car will remain a 300CD mechanically.

Nick,

Forum Member Zack K ("Boardmonger") is restoring his w123 280CE AMG coupe right now. Have you asked him for any leads?

Also Barry Taylor at AMG West might possibly have something....maybe, did you think of calling him?

AMG body kit on a W123 diesel, philosophically...

(I've seen the W123 AMG catalogues, and the body kits were indeed offered for them, diesel or or gas powered.

Well, i'm not trying to make a fake/clone or anything. I just think the Air-Dam makes the car look so cool. The problem, is that if you put the Air-Dam on the car, it will look funny without the rest of , or some sort of body kit.
Comparable, to putting an IROC nose, on a plain jane Camaro. Kinda looks like a lot of something is missing from the car, and too obvious it's a hack job. See, why I'd like it all ?

Jim, I believe that Bobby may have ripped George Bernard Shaw on that one:

"Some men see things as they are and say why - I dream things that never were and say why not."

-- George Bernard Shaw

As for an AMG kit on a diesel powered beast.........sounds like a waste to me.

I don't care if the AMG name is on the stuff or not. I just like what the kit does for the car. Be it Gas Diesel, or otherwise, it looks cool none the less. The car never will be, and never has been anything AMG. If you know another company making a cool body kit at all similar to that of the AMG kit for a 79 123 Coupe, than shout out their name. I just don't know of any others to exist for the car, aside from AMG's kit, and I want that look for the car, so I don't have much choice. The car still won't have any AMG emblems on it, and the ones molded into the panels sould hopefully blend, being all one color. I don't really care though if they show a little, it will still look cool. The car is Silver with Black Leather, should look pretty sharp in AMG body kit, as a coupe reguardless what's under the hood.
I mean the Coupes look cool as it is. I've currently got seven 123 Coupes, and they're all the same color combo also. I just want one to look a little different. It will either go on this car, or on my small block Chevy powered one, but either way it needs to be painted to match, and I'd like to scrounge up what I can asap. Gotta call up "Boardmonger", see what he has to offer for leads.

Erebuni makes a replica, but they apparently suck for quality, and I think they only have the rear. But you might ask. Also, carshine.com.au is in australia, they used to have some i believe, so you could ask if they know anyone, if you're willing to ship it from anywhere in the world.

Zender

Wald

Brabus

Lorinser

You'll need to do a bit of due diligence, first (what they look like, condition, price availability, location, shipping cost, and durability, etc.)

Great Thanks for the info. Now I feel like I'm getting somewhere. I'll check out carshine, and let you know how I do. I don't want to use questionable quality on my car so I think I'll skip Erebuni. I'll atleast look at any pics they've got available, and who knows what will become of it. I'm also calling up my pal out in California, Mr. Leyton, and see what he's got in stock from the real AMG inventory of the day.

US ebay or Euro ebay is your only shot without paying astronomical prices for an NOS piece.

Yes, I never even thought of either one of the ebay ideas. Why is it always something others need to remind me of. I'm still new to computers, and I think that has a lot to do with it. I've always been a "Bargain News" kinda guy, or "Auto Trader" or "Dupont Registry". In other words, if it wasn't on paper, or in a book I used to run out of resources.. This whole computer thing just gets better every day for me. Awesome looking cars. Especially the AMG. I've got a newer 126 AMG but would love to have a 123 AMG Coupe. From what sources have told me, they only made ONE and the car is in California, in some lady's garage, and she refuses to part with it for less than $125k. Shameful, because I want one. I think I'll buy it anyways reguardless of price. Money isn't something I need to worry about. Time to drive them is my biggest problem. Anyone got any pics, of this lady's car? If you have pics of an AMG 123 Coupe, than it can only be hers, according to Barry, at Richmond, Mercedes.
