Charging my cellphone off my computer?
Can I just use my USB cable to charge my Razr?

Probably so. If your telephone handset requires more than 100ma, I'd ensure that the computer is capable of delivering it to the USB port. It can probably deliver at least 500ma, and perhaps a full amp.

My Treo will charge off the hotsync cable which is USB, so probably your Razr will do the same.

Yep! It's one of the reasons I bought the phone. I just charge it while I work (instead of in the car, etc.) I think you will need the Motorola software though, it won't work otherwise. I believe the software sets the charging voltage, etc. If the software didn't come with your phone (some service provides apparently withold it), just look around the net for it.
You can also manage contact info, pictures, etc. this way. Handy hookup. C.
