Quick Way to Find MSRP for MBs?

Anybody know a website to obtain original MSRPs for older MBs?

I think on autos.msn.com you can navigate to the vehicle your looking for, and pull up the original price on it.

I was looking at a 89 300CE yesterday. But there were a couple of vehicles I was researching recently.

Anything on cars older than '88? I'm curious as to what my TD sold for when new.

If your curious only about the 300CE..
The MSRP for an 89 300CE was approx. 53,000. The 88CE was about $52,500This I got from MBUSA about 5 years ago when I bought mine.

If you send a copy of your registration to the Classic Division of MBUSA they are very nice about giving you a copy of your original window sticker.

Bob Nitske's book also shows MSRP, but not with options.

Thanks. You just bought a CE, right?

This one is for my MIL. I'm afraid she's not real fast to pull the trigger. She's trying to decide if she really needs to trade in the 73 450SE (original owner). Only 50K miles.

Practically brand new.

Yep. Got Beowulf (my lil' red coupe) on Super Bowl Sunday.

MIL = MOTHER-IN-LAW???

You're a brave, brave man, helping your MIL buy a car.

If she is happy with the 450SE, I'd say...let her be.

Yes I am, stupid too, and I know I'll regret it.

Ulterior motive is that then I'll borrow her 450SE, tear my SLC apart and rebuild it, then sell hers. Then maybe sell mine and buy something else.

Sort of like trying to do one of those puzzzles where you push the little plastic letters around in a frame with 1 empty space.

I couldn't do those either.

x2 If ain't broke, don't fix it.

But it's almost 35 years old! Maybe a new car will make her feel younger.
Is it possible to do both..keep it and get a new one?

She's driven 50K miles in 35 years.

She doesn't exactly need a second car.
