Can I sell my baggage weight allowance?

Shouldn't I be able to sell what I don't use? Hey bud, you over 20lbs? I'll sell you 20lbs for half of what the airline charges!

It does seem unfair that a fat person gets the same luggage limits as a skinny person. Seems there should be an overall weight limit, person+baggage.

Last time I flew, I was 5 pounds under weight in one luggage.. and 3 pounds over in the other. The lady at the counter told me to "even" it out Wasting my time removing a book from one to another

It’s not about the total weight being loaded into the airplane.

It’s about the weight the unionized baggage loaders have to lift up and put into the airplane.

(and, yes - there was a shot at the f***’n unions in there)

I used to wish they had weight limits on cases of beef. Sometimes those "cases" would be 80lbs. I used to have to haul them 200ft from the dock to the cooler myself. Damn union cooks were prohibited from lifting things over forty.

what a joke.. I came back from dallas with 50k worth of software in my suitcase since my laptop backpack was jammed full of more software (gotta love winning national engineering competitions) they said it was over weight so I paid like 10$ or something and then they procede to throw it around.. I was like whoa now sky ***** dont drop that its worth more than what you make in a year and half.

3 years so far... got a couple more then couple more of specialty... so I still have a ways to go. The hardest part of schooling is nearing its completion... now I'm doing more and more clinical work. Soon I will be able to tell people I invade peoples' mouths for a living
